Coca-Cola Easter Show

Let the good times roll at the Coca-Cola Easter Show. This year’s show includes a huge line-up of acts and attractions, including the spine-tingling Hollywood Horrors, Zirka Circus, SpottyWot and DottyWot from Pukeko Pictures, and the southern hemisphere’s largest carnival rides. There will also be concerts from Dane Rumble and Titanium in the Logan Campbell Theatre. The Coca-Cola Easter Show is on from 28 March to 1 April at ASB Showgrounds in Epsom.
Queen Street Golden Mile. Queen Street Golden Mile
See the top milers in New Zealand take on the world’s best at the Queen Street Golden Mile on Easter Monday from 1.30pm. As well as the mile race for international athletes, there will be an age-group race, and the Radio Sport Clash of the Codes, with famous sportspeople racing each other down Queen Street. It’s free to watch along Queen Street, or $15 to join the fun at the finish area on Queens Wharf.
MOTAT Model Air Show. MOTAT Model Air Show
Aviation fanatics will be taken to the next level at the MOTAT Model Air Show, which will feature tips, tricks and turns of up to 50 impressive model aircraft. Visitors will also be able to check out MOTAT’s existing aircraft collection in the Aviation Display Hall and learn of the remarkable stories of Kiwi aviation legends. The show is on this Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 3pm. Normal MOTAT admission fees apply.
Waiheke Island International Jazz Festival. Waiheke Island International Jazz Festival

The iconic Waiheke Island International Jazz Festival serves up an all-star line-up of over 100 local and international musicians across three days at four all-weather venues. There’s a huge range of gigs to choose from, including the family-friendly Good Friday Groove, and the Grand Finale Concert on Sunday evening. The festival is on from 29 to 31 March. FRESH 2.0. FRESH 2.0
The first exhibition in Fresh Gallery Otara’s new premises in Otara Town Centre, this exciting group show honours the gallery’s history and looks confidently towards a bright future. Curated by Nicole Lim, FRESH 2.0 has a graphic design edge mixed with urban and culturally relevant themes. The opening of the gallery and exhibition will be on Thursday 28 March from 6pm to 8pm – come along to celebrate local creativity and talent.
